Office Manager

 

The Office Manager is responsible organizing and coordinating office operations, administrative support and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The Office Manager is responsible for providing office management services to the office. This includes maintaining office services and efficiency, managing office logistics and schedules, admin support to family members, and maintaining office records.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Must be highly punctual, reliable, and responsible.
  • Must provide admin support to the Ahern Family, managing schedules, reminders, meetings, etc.
  • Maintain office area, clean and free from clutter, monitor cleaning staff.
  • Operate telephone system, route calls, take messages, answer inquiries and obtain information for general public, customers and visitors, greet guests and refer them to appropriate staff members.
  • Assist various departments in miscellaneous tasks, but not limited to, light correspondence; English, grammar and skilled writing required, customer service, light bookkeeping, copying, faxing, mailing and filing.
  • Maintain office staff calendar to coordinate work flow, schedule lunch breaks, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain professional relationship and communication with each department to ensure coordination of work flow.
  • Manage hospitality for office guests, clients and vendors.
  • Sign for and distribute UPS/FedEx, inbound/outbound mail, sorting and package receiving.
  • Ensure Accounting receives all bills, troubleshooting assignments, and miscellaneous errands outside office.
  • Office supplies management and budgeting for corporate office.
  • May be required to work occasional, weekends, within advance notice, depending on business needs.
  • May be required to work occasional events, sponsorships, Expos, etc.
  • Answer all inquiries incoming to communications email in timely manner.
  • Answer all inquiries incoming to website chat box and transferring inquiries to other departments if needed Social Media updates.
  • Work on fliers and mailers Coordinate and mail monthly statements to accounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skill

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Docs

Automotive Mechanics

 

Autmotive Mechanic Requirements- At least two years as a full service automotive technician. Experience and knowledgeable with engine performance/ emission diagnostic, brake repair, steering and suspension repair, alignament, air conditioning repair and all other full service automotive repair. ASECertification and automotive training also strongly preferred. 2 years shop experience (including alignments) required for this position. Entry Level Technician Requirements- Experience in performing oil changes, maintenance services and vehicle inspections. Experience in general automotive knowledge and repair. Automotive training and ASE certification is also a preferred. No experience necessary for this position.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years shop experience that includes alignments -- mechanic.
  • Your own tools.
  • Ability to work Saturdays.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Tire & Automotive Technicians

 

Job Summary

  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance on vehicles such as changing oil, changing and rotating tires, changing light bulbs, and checking fluids.
  • Assisting (not training) technician mechanics in performing technical activities.
  • Diagnoses and repairs to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, front end, suspension, alignment, and computer systems.
  • Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
  • Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
  • Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
  • Maintains an organized and neat bay.
  • Maintains and organizes tire stock.
  • Delivery of tires to local stores and wholesalers.
  • Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Road Service Technicians

 

 

Road Service Technicians must be willing to work with retail, commercial, and fleet accounts. Technicians work inside/outside as well as in all weather conditions (sun/heat, rain, snow/cold, etc.). Technicians must be able to work on all types of equipment and their tires from hand carts to cars to light trucks to semi-trucks/trailers to front loaders/heavy duty construction equipment.

All Road Service Technicians will be based out of our headquarters in Addison, IL, but must be willing to work out of all 15 Chicagoland locations.

Requirements:
  • Clean and valid drivers license NO DUI's, suspensions, accidents or more than 1 speeding ticket on your driving record. We will check your license with the DMV for insurance purposes.
  • Be able to take and pass a drug test.
  • Have at least 2 years experience with a company as a Road Service Technician. Please send with your resume at least 1 reference from the company you worked for as a technician.

Diesel Mechanic

You'll work under limited supervision in a conscientious manner, performing work correctly and on-time. We'll help to advance your knowledge and experience by training you to perform state-of-the-art truck alignments and play an integral part in advancing a major company initiative.
